Soccer fans across the world were full of excitement for this weekend's FA Cup action, and they were not disappointed. Arsenal took on Everton, Sheffield United faced Charlton, Hull City went toe-to-toe with Sunderland and moneybags Manchester City welcomed the defending champions Wigan, in what was a rematch of last season's FA Cup final.

Arsenal, who haven't won a trophy in years, had a tough task in Everton, but they were excellent throughout, beating Everton 4-1. The Gunners had been on bad form recently, so this emphatic victory was just what they needed ahead of their away trip to Barcelona.

Hull attacked Sunderland from the start and won 3-0. Lower league Sheffield United took on Charlton, who are a division higher than them, and controlled the match from start to finish. It wasn't until a late double that they knew they'd safely booked their place in the semi-final.

Manchester City were looking to get revenge against Wigan, who they lost to in the 2013-14 FA Cup final. The match started competitively, with Wigan sneaking a first half advantage. City were desperate to make amends in the second half, but Wigan grabbed another goal, making it 2-0. City pulled one back and put continuous pressure on the lower league Wigan, who tried to hold on to their lead at all costs, and did so, winning 2-1, shocking the soccer world.

The semi-final draw has been made and both ties look appealing to the neutral fans. Both games will be played at Wembley stadium in April. Underdogs Sheffield United will take on fellow Yorkshire neighbours Hull City, meaning two of the lesser remaining teams now have a bigger chance of winning the trophy. Arsenal will take on defending champions Wigan, but will they slip up?
