Under the management of former coach Sir Alex Ferguson, it was imperative that his Manchester United side would beat the likes of West Brom more often than not. But under David Moyes, any former normality has disappeared and United fans are grateful for every goal, point and solid ounce of effort put on display. In their early Saturday away encounter at West Brom, United were wary of the threat they posed, but they delivered all of the previously mentioned positives in their 3-0 win against the Baggies.

Goals from Phil Jones, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck topped off United's energetic performance. The Red Devils were solid, and their young, attacking team has calmed the future fears some may of had. The only noteworthy problem they faced was Robin Van Persie seeming uninterested. Their star striker should have perhaps been red carded, struggled to contribute when everyone else was at the top of their game and even collided in to one of his players. It seems Van Persie isn't on the same wave length as the rest of his teammates.

United have had many false dawns this season, but there's a belief that this could be their turning point. If United can win the remainder of their games they could still qualify for next seasons Uefa Champions League, or at least attract better players to the club during their inevitable summer rebuilding plans.

What does the rest of the season have in store for David Moyes' men, and is Van Persie unhappy at United?
