Last month, the CW released the first image of Grant Gustin in costume as Barry Allen's alter ego, The Flash, for the upcoming Arrow spinoff series of the same name. This first look was only a headshot, but this week the network debuted a full-body action shot! Check out the first full-costume image of Gustin in his superhero outfit right here.
Deadline reports:
The CW and Warner Bros TV have been teasing fans about the network's pilot The Flash, based on the DC Comics superhero and now in production ... Now comes the full look at the suit, which surely will lead to all kinds of discussions among the fanboy set. Let's see if that chatter leans positive for the duds designed by Oscar winner Colleen Atwood or whether it careens in the Adrianne Palicki-David E Kelley-Wonder Woman direction.
What do you think of this costume now that you can see the whole thing? Are you exited to see Grant Gustin in action?
You can check out a photo and our coverage of the original image of Gustin in costume right here!
Arrow costume designer Colleen Atwood designed this new costume. Flash is hoping to premier in the 2014-2015 season on the CW and by the looks of this costume production is on the right path.
Gustin's character is "a Central City assistant police forensics investigator who arrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past."
