CM Punk will appear on this Sunday's edition of AMC's post-show for The Walking Dead entitled Talking Dead. The show is advertising him by his real name, Phil Brooks. And WWE is reportedly not happy about it.
PWInsider.com reports that those backstage at WWE are bitter about Punk's appearance on the show because they feel that if he can travel to Los Angeles to appear on Talking Dead, then he could have at least come to Monday Night Raw in his hometown of Chicago two weeks ago to talk to someone in WWE in person.
Furthermore, those backstage at WWE are uncertain about the appearance, because it's unclear if Punk will address his WWE status on air or what he might say if he does. It is possible host Chris Hardwick could mention it, but we'll find out Sunday night.
In other Punk news, former WWE and UFC star Ken Shamrock appeared on Asked w/Riv and Landin this week and was asked about Punk's possibly entering MMA. Shamrock said Punk has no chance if he does enter UFC and that he should start at the bottom because he has no experience. He also said Punk suffers from "spoiled brat syndrome" for walking out on WWE after management would not give him what he wanted.
Shamrock also said Triple H dislikes him because he had to put Shamrock over several times during the Attitude Era. He also claimed that HHH does not like to put people over.
