With war vastly spreading around the world (most recently in the Ukraine), talented and inspiring filmmaker Ben Mose gathered activists ranging from student leaders to prime ministers to various heads of state whom, according the film's website, "share their compelling personal stories of struggle, past and present, with their countries' oppressive regimes. "
The film, which also includes narration from "Spider-Man 2" star Alfred Molina, was captured over three years and inspired by Stanford University's Larry Diamond, author of "The Spirit of Democracy" and Director of Stanford University's Center for Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law.
