Halle Berry reportedly cut from 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' to just one scene

Halle Berry's character of Ororo Munroe aka Storm was one of the most well known mutants in the X-Men movies and certainly in the comics. But according to a recent report, the actress' role in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past has been significantly diminished.

The New York Daily News reports that Berry's part in the movie has been trimmed to just one scene in Bryan Singer's latest installment in the franchise.

"Meanwhile, on the work front, a source who was on the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past tells us Berry, who plays Storm, was cut out of every scene but one in post-production," the report states.

Berry was pregnant with her second child from fiancé Olivier Martinez during filming, and she had a significant baby bump during production. According to Comic Book Movie, Berry noted her pregnancy would limit her involvement in the film:

"Storm probably won't be as badass as she was going to be because we won't be able to do any fighting or flying or things like that...There's something very revealing and shocking about Storm in this movie that I thought was needed."

If this report is true, then we may not find out what Storm's revelation was during the film.

Comic Book Movie also reported an update with a source from Superhero Hype who said the following:

"Good gossip that is sure to bring some traffic to your site, except that it isn't true. SHH has spoken to a very trusty source of the site, who says there is no truth to what the NY Daily News is claiming."
