Rihanna asked Drake for a relationship: Rihanna wanted Drake to make a 'mature' decision to stop random hook-ups after dumping Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran drama

Apparently, Rihanna asked Drake to take their relationship to the next level after a string of hookups.

The 26-year-old singer wanted to take her relationship with the Toronto rapper to the next level and asked him to make a "mature" decision after finally letting her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown go.

According to a HollywoodLife.com source, the pair made their new relationship status decision together and each are ready for a serious relationship.

"It was a mutual thing, really," the source reveals. "She thinks it's time that they be more mature about this and so does Drake and that's where things stand. They're not about to run and go get married. It's not like that. They're playing it safely and responsibly. Rihanna just wants her mind at ease and since she and Drake are [intimate], she felt ... they're trying to be smart about their relationship and adults about it."
