More and more, we see Carrie Underwood in the credits for songs written for singers other than herself.  New country artist Rachel Holder's song "Lord Help Me" had been written by Underwood together with Katrina Elam and Ashley Monroe.

Carrie Underwood and Lauren Alaina have teamed up for Alaina's newest single "Eighteen Inches."  Underwood is a co-writer along with Kelley Lovelace and Ashley Gorley for the song.

Though the song "Eighteen Inches" would have sounded beautiful with Underwood's vocals, she joyfully praises Alaina's vocals as the perfect match for the song.

"It's so wonderful when a song you had a hand in writing finds the perfect home," Underwood shared on CMT. "Lauren's voice tells the story of 'Eighteen Inches' beautifully. What an incredible talent!"

"Eighteen Inches" will hit the radio starting July 16th.

Who will Carrie Underwood write for next?
