Country's David Nail Covers Adele "Someone Like You" In New EP [VIDEO]

Country singer David Nail was blown away by Adele's song "Someone Like You" the first time he heard it in the car when his wife turned the radio away from sports stations. Since then, Nail has made his recorded his own rendition.

"I kind of fancied myself as somebody who hears a lyric and identifies with the lyric and tries to relay that through singing, and that's what I heard in that. I just fell in love with it. Just listened to it so many times," Nail shared.

Nail started to warm up to the song, and it led to the recording of his own country rendition currently posted on Youtube. His upcoming EP 1979 will include the studio version of his version of "Someone Like You."

"I think anytime you do something like that you're scared to death because the last thing you want is to get on your Twitter and see Adele going, 'Who in the hell is this redneck singing my song?' But it hasn't happened yet. So, either she likes it or she's like, 'Don't bother me with this stuff.'"

Adele hasn't contacted Nail yet.
