Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart 'reunite' with pet dog adoption? 'Twilight' starlet wants boyfriend AND new pup for 24th birthday, should Robsten get back together?

Kristen Stewart turns 26-years-old on April 9, and rumors suggest that all she really wants is a birthday reunion with on-and-off again boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. Oh, that and a new pet dog!

An alleged insider for HollywoodLife reveals:

"Kristen asked Rob what his thoughts were about her adopting another dog for her birthday. Kind of like a gift for her and Bailey, 'cause Bailey wants a friend. She's been like, if you see a rescue dog in Toronto and you think the dog would be a good match, adopt him and bring him back to LA." 

Robsten used to bond over their mutual love for animals, so maybe a new furry friend is the ultimate key for getting them back together?

Or is this just a ploy on K-Stew's part to get Pattinson back to LA so that they can "work things out?"

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were not invited to fellow "Twilight" star Kellan Lutz's birthday celebrations in Thailand earlier this month, but apparently K-Stew still wants to reunite with former "Twilight" love to see if sparks can fly once again.

And what a coincidence, her 24th birthday is coming up on April 9th! Is there any better time to try and rekindle a romance?

Hollywood Life reports that the "SWATH" actress wants to keep her b-day festivites "simple and low-key" - as long as R-Patz is there to celebrate. That would be her "ultimate" birthday dream come true. An alleged insider reveals:

"Kristen wants to celebrate her upcoming birthday with her close friends in LA, and she wants Rob to join them as well... Even though she hasn't seen Rob for the longest time, they still talk all the time. They text, Skype. They are both pretty much in the same place right now, just focusing on work and staying focused." 

Both stars are very busy with their separate movie careers right now - Pattinson's in Canada filming the upcoming drama "Life," and Stewart's currently having fun on the set of ""Still Alice." But would both take the time out of their bustling schedules to reunite just for a day or two?

Perhaps - considering they're both still single. The source explains, "Neither of them are dating... Things are good between them and it would so make Kristen's birthday if he joined her. That would be the ultimate birthday gift for her." 

So - should R-Patz grant Stewart's birthday wish?
