Mack Wilds owns 'GMA' stage, see exclusive interview with MStars reporter Star Connor, singer says 'it's amazing' to hear my music

Mack Wilds appeared on Good Morning America this week, and the actor, singer, rapper performed his hit single, "Own It."

MStars reporter Star Connor caught up with the Red Tails star at the BET Honors that was held last month for an exclusive one on one.

Star asked the singer, how does it feel to hear your music hitting charts everywhere?

Mack Wilds: " It feels amazing. Honestly considering that so many people doubted that this would happen, or said that it wouldn't work, or said I just needed to keep acting."

The singer continued, "It feels great, and I just think God for it."

Star asked Wilds how the transition was from acting to music. Wilds replied, "It was cool, I just needed the right ample amount of time to make the music that I wanted to make."
