Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi divorce 'rumors' won't stop: Oscars host 'so sad' over break-up news, jokes with Jimmy Kimmel [VIDEO]

Good thing Ellen DeGeneres and her longtime wife Portia de Rossi both have a decent sense of humor.

Rumors continue going viral online that the happy couple are headed towards a nasty divorce. That's simply untrue. And just last month, the beloved TV show host hilariously debunked such break-up buzz alongside Jimmy Kimmel.

Just before hosting the 2014 Oscars, DeGeneres appeared on an episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live." She was "really sad" to hear that she was splitting up with de Rossi:

"I read that we were getting divorced, and I went and told her, and she was sad," DeGeneres joked. "We both were so sad. I couldn't believe that we were getting divorced, so I guess we are."
