GWAR's Dave Brockie dead: Oderus Urungus singer dies at 50, body found lounging in chair, Twitter fans offer condolences, no drug/foul play/suicide suspected

Reports confirm that Dave Brockie, better known as GWAR's frontman Oderus Urungus, was found dead in his Richmond, VA home on Sunday morning (March 23). Brockie was 50-years-old.

TMZ confirms that Brockie's lifeless body was found sitting upright in a chair. No foul play is suspected. A law enforcement official tells the infamous gossip webloid, "There were no drugs found, as far as I know."

Another official confirms that Brockie did not commit sucide - he left no note behind. The gore/horror metal rocker's body was discovered by his roommate. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
