This FAKE Facebook post recently put fans into a tizzy:
"[BREAKING NEWS] ADAM LEVINE of Maroon 5 Dies at 35 from Drug Overdose ... Was reported Dead on Arrival after being rescued from a Drug ..."
But the link is likely SCAM - so don't click on it! When users attempt to learn more about the shocking story, they're directed to another page that asks for personal account information. If fans do so, they could end up downloading some dangerous and malicious malware. So beware!
The crazy "RIP Adam Levine" rumors quickly spread on popular social networking sites including Twitter:
