After gaining reader's attention and making a splash in sales, a digital comic book will now be re-released as an ongoing print series. Skybound/Image Comics will launch Tech Jacket, from writer Joe Keatinge and artist Khary Randolph.

Plot Synopsis:

The Geldarians are a race of incredibly intelligent, yet physically weak and fragile beings. To compensate for their frailty they have invented the "Tech Jacket," a vest that every Geldarian is equipped with upon birth. Each jacket grows and matures with its host, specializing in tasks that the host will find most useful. A fully developed Tech Jacket is considered to be one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. Zack Thompson, through an event of sheer chance, has come to possess a Tech Jacket of his own. Now it appears that the fate of the entire universe rests on his shoulders as he learns that with infinite power comes infinite responsibility.

Keatinge states, "After the success of the miniseries, Skybound was excited to get more Tech Jacket out there and with Khary on board, I'm on board. Whether or not people read the past series, the digital miniseries, or none of it, they're in for what's going to be the biggest scale science-fiction series I've worked on yet. Extremely excited to do so with Khary, Robert Kirkman, and company!"

Randolph adds to the excitement, "This project is a dream come true for me. Working with Joe, Robert Kirkman, and the rest of the Skybound family has been a blast and I'm sure the fans will see how much fun we are having on this series. If you like action, adventure and excitement then you will love Tech Jacket."

Get ready forTech Jacket when its hits stores in July 2014. If you love sci-fi and alien robots duking it out, then this comic's just for you.
