'Roseanne' & 'The Talk' star Sara Gilbert marries musical producer girlfriend Linda Perry

Star of TV's 'Roseanne' and 'The Talk', Sara Gilbert and girlfriend of three years, songwriter and musician Linda Perry are officially married as of Sunday March 30. The news was announced yesterday on Sara's talk show 'The Talk' by fellow co-host Julie Chen.

Aisha Tyler also a co-host of 'The Talk' started to give details on the nuptials but refrained, saying she didn't want to give too much away and that Sara would be sure to give details on the wedding once she returns from her honeymoon next week. Julie Chen also promised that when Sara returns there are sure to be photos and a lot of talk about the wedding and hopefully the honeymoon as well. Details that we do know from the co-hosts are that the wedding took place at sunset and it was held at a place overlooking the ocean. They went on to say that the wedding was an amazing and magical night.

Gilbert and Perry, who began dating in 2011, got engaged in April of 2013. Perry proposed to Gilbert during a romantic picnic where Perry set up an extravagant musical serenade for Gilbert. She had set it up so that the surrounding picnickers were musicians who began playing "their" song which is The Cures 'Lovesong'. During the song, Perry changed into five different T-shirts, each with a different word from the phrase "will you marry me ?" written on it.

If the proposal was this big of a romantic spectacle then there is no telling what the wedding might have been like, but the details we do have seem to be telling us that it was nothing short of a beautiful and romantic ceremony. We will have to wait and see how Sara Gilbert describes it when she returns as a co-host of 'The Talk' on Monday, April 7.
