Abby swoops into the White House wearing (what appears to be) Olivia's signature white coat. She takes Olivia's place in managing Fitz's campaign, but when a tell-all memoir from one of Fitz's mistresses comes out, she has to call in Olivia.
Olivia already has enough on her plate with trying to shut down B6-13 and meeting with her father to hatch a plan, this new memoir is just another smothering layer on top.
Eli informs Olivia how B6-13 gets the funds to do what it does and it's up to Huck to create a bug to tap into the B6-13 database to reroute the funds. Huck initially refuses to follow what Eli says, but Olivia tells him that it's what is needed to get the job done.
Back at the White House, Andrew comes after Mellie but she turns him down. It must be hard for her to get back into the affair after her own daughter spotted the two of them together. Mellie's trying to play it cool but everyone knows she has a thing for Andrew- even Fitz.
Olivia comes to try and sort all of the White House drama out, but Fitz gives her a hard time. He calls her jealous, to which Olivia says, "What else am I supposed to be?"
Struggling to be in the same room with him, she asks him what he wants and he says, "I need Andrew to stop screwing my wife."
A blow to Olivia's already damaged ego, but she goes off and does what she is told. She threatens to ruin Andrew's life if the affair continues and if it ends then he can have the Vice President slot. He says he won't stop going after Mellie, that he loves her. He would give it up to be with Mellie. To which Olivia tells him that Mellie would not want to be with him if he didn't have the title.
A low blow, but Mellie has been with Fitz for all these years and all of the affairs just to be the First Lady. Mellie probably wouldn't give it all up for love, right? Fitz surely didn't.
Back at the Gladiator headquarters, Huck tells Olivia that the bug he has created needs to be placed on top of Jake's cellphone in order to hack into his information. Olivia and Huck both know what he's asking her to do and it's kind of awkward but Olivia's on the ropes with Fitz again. Jake is the perfect candidate to help Olivia forget about Fitz.
She does the deed and the Gladiators shut down B6-13, unfortunately it's right before Quinn and Charlie are about to bust Maya and Adnan for buying a bomb big enough to turn the White House (and all of Washington, D.C. for that matter) into a crater of dust.
Whoops.
