As with all things Lana Del Rey, this morning's news of a new single wasn't exactly what it seemed. "Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight" - an LDR track that leaked onto the web and was reportedly from her new album Ultraviolence - is actually an old song that Lana wrote for someone else.

The "Summertime Sadness" singer confirmed it on Twitter in response to a tweet by Prefix, adding that the actual first single was called "West Coast."

She then sent out two B&W pics of herself with the caption "West Coast." Why? Because LDR.
