Before the release of The Green Inferno, writer/director Eli Roth is already quick at work on another film. Roth already has a major star signed on for his upcoming psychological thriller, Knock Knock.
According to Deadline, the Matrix star Keanu Reeves is now attached to the project. Reeves will play the happily married man who is going to be terrorized inside his own home. Two beautiful girls show up uninvited and will torture him throughout the night. The torturing femme fatales will be played by Lorenza Izzo (The Green Inferno) and Ana de Armas (Hands of Stone). Not only is Reeves committed to star in the movie, he is also on board as executive producer.
Roth comments on his own film and attached star, "I had a window before I promote Green Inferno, and I wanted to make a movie like Roman Polanski or Paul Verhoeven made when they were young, a classic psychosexual thriller that's not a horror movie, but would have everyone on the edge of their seats. Getting Keanu is amazing, he's a fine actor who is perfect for this. I feel I can have this movie ready for Toronto if I need to, and he's catching a plane tomorrow and we'll be fitting him for wardrobe right away."
Before starring alongside Brad Pitt in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, Roth was already known with the horror crowd for Hostel and Cabin Fever. Reeves also made a name for himself in the horror genre when he previously costarred with Cate Blanchett in Sam Raimi's supernatural mystery, The Gift.

Production for Knock Knock will begin on April 14 in Santiago, Chile. Eli Roth's The Green Inferno will be released in theaters on September 5th.
