Rita Ora revealed the cover art for her debut album ORA on Wednesday (July 4). The album art is black and white and features Ora with a shocked expression. Her blonde locks covers one side of her face, and it appears that she is wearing heavy chains around her neck. She also sports an oversized watch.
The photoshoot for the album cover took place in April. Ora herself explained to VEVO UK, "Everything was inspired basically by being bossy, by being independent, and by taking your own. We made sure that everything had character. Everything about my pictures, I wanted them to be moments and to be something that you caught."
The newbie pop star experienced amazing success with her No. 1 hit single "R.I.P." penned by Drake. Her next single "How We Do" (Party) will drop on August 12.
U.K. fans get get their hands on a copy of ORA on August 27 while U.S. fans have to wait a tad longer until September.
The singer is excited for the album which took three years to prepare. "It's going to be fun. I wanted to make a fun album, because I haven't really been through a heartbreak, so I didn't really want to write anything [sad] ... I'll leave that to Adele for now."
