The Biebs and fellow pop sensation Austin Mahone continue working together in the studio, but that does NOT mean that they're romantically involved!

This viral Twitter announcment is just a hoax. It was not posted on the "Believe" crooner's official Twitter page.

In fact, the 20-year-old singer's latest tweet/Instagram post was about a potential girlfriend (maybe Selena Gomez):

So, how did this ridiculous hoax even get started?

The ridiculous reports claims that Bieber also said, "I don't care what anyone thinks, After what happened with Selena and me, I decided to try guys too, and Austin is so fine."

Yeah - simply not true. Sorry for those fans hoping for a Bieber and Mahone "menage a trois" (hey, guess that could still happen)!
