Peaches Geldof Dead at 25, Twitter Reacts

Peaches Geldof, the model, writer, television presenter and daughter of Irish singer Bob Geldof, has reportedly died at the age of 25 years old. According to the BBC, Police are calling her death "unexplained and sudden."

"Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," her father said in a statement, confirming the death of the young television personality and model. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken."

The second daughter of Bob Geldof, Peaches began her writing career at the age of 15 with Elle Magazine, soon becoming a contributor to the Telegraph and the Guardian. She was also a recognizable TV personality on a number of shows including ITV2's OMG! with Peaches Geldof.

Peaches is survived by her two sons - one-year-old Astala and Phaedra, who will turn one on 24 April - whom she had with her musician husband Thomas Cohen.

"My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons," said Cohen in a statement this week. "I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever."
