The NCAA tournament has finally come to a close, and the NBA season is days away from finishing. For some that means the playoffs are here, but for some it means they have a clearer idea of how draft day will pan out. Here's the post-March Madness mock top five NBA 2014 Draft.
1. Milwaukee Bucks: Jabari Parker, SF, Duke
Depending on the luck of the lottery, it's highly probably that the Bucks will take Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins, but expect them to opt for Parker.
2. Philadelphia 76ers: Andrew Wiggins, SF, Kansas
The Philadelphia 76ers will be desperate to land Parker or Wiggins, but expect them to opt for Wiggins if given the choice, although the Bucks' decision will heavily impact there choice.
3. Orlando Magic: Marcus Smart, PG, Oklahoma State
Expect the Magic to pull off one of the shocks of the draft in selecting Marcus Smart with the third pick of the first round.
4. Boston Celtics, Joel Embiid, C, Kansas
The Celtics will have a lot of options left on the board, but the potential of Joel Embiid will be too much for the struggling franchise to turn down.
5. Utah Jazz, Aaron Gordon, PF, Arizona
Aaron Gordon wouldn't of been the top choice for the Jazz, that was until his recent heroics. Expect the Jazz to make this risky, yet promising move.
Once the NBA season finises and March Madness has come to an end, it's a lot clearer what the teams will be looking to do in the draft. There's so much room for flexibility in this year's draft that anything can happen, but expect there to be surprises all round.
