RUMOR: Zayn Malik will rap about fiancee Perrie Edwards on new One Direction album

One Direction is still riding high on the boy bond's latest album, 2013's Midnight Memories, but the heartthrobs have already started working on the followup record. In fact, as they rehearse for the upcoming "Where We Are" world stadium tour, the boys are also hitting the studio to work on new songs. Now a new reports claims that at least one of these new tracks will feature Zayn Malik rapping about his fiancée Perrie Edwards!

"Zayn's loved getting creative and is fast gaining confidence to try out new things musically," a source said this week. "He even plucked up the courage to try to give rapping a shot."

"Everyone has been impressed with the results," the insider added, explaining that Zayn's rapping sounds just like Drake.

Zayn is said to have received some hip-hop guidance from producer Naughty Boy.

"The rest of the boys will be joining Zayn soon to record one of the songs he co-wrote with Naughty Boy," the insider added.

Many are speculating that Zayn's rap will be about his fiancée Perrie Edwards. What do you think?

Meanwhile, songstress Emeli Sande is the latest collaborator to be added to the upcoming One Direction album.

The source said, "Emeli has provided the track's big, catchy chorus."

We previously reported on Liam Payne and Pharrell Williams discussing hitting the studio together sometime soon, adding yet another exciting name to the list of collaborators on this new album.
