Eve has been pushing for her new album to materialize since 2007 with no success.  The rapper/actress is beyond frustrated at the slow process and at her label Interscope Records.  This sounds familiar with what has been been happening for Rapper 50 Cent with the same label.

The new project has been renamed Lip Lock after being completely reworked on.

Eve spilled her heart to Time.com, "I need another word for frustration. I've completely gone past frustration 100 times. It's like with anything that you create - you just want to put out. Because it's been so long for me, music has changed so much. It's beyond frustration. I just really can't wait till this record is out."

The hip hop star fought long and hard for to get new music out to fans and has "switched managements", "switched labels" and "switched lawyers."

"Now I feel like the dust has finally settled and the team that I have now is the right team. Sometimes that's all it takes, for the stars to be aligned and the dust to settle. And I think we're there now."

With a positive outlook for the future, Eve suggests the album will be be out in the fall.
