The NBA rarely has a clearer moment than what we're witnessing right now. There are the bad and the good teams, and both know which branch they come under. The weaker teams are busy preparing for the upcoming 2014 NBA Draft, but the teams that are good enough to of grabbed a playoff place, well the hard part of the season has just arrived. Although there's a few factors yet to be decided we have a much clearer picture of what to expect, but who will come out on top?
Eastern Conference:
Indiana Pacers vs Atlanta Hawks
Miami Heat vs Washington Wizards
Toronto Raptors vs Charlotte Bobcats
Chicago Bulls vs Brooklyn Nets
Western Conference:
San Antonio Spurs vs Dallas Mavericks
Oklahoma City Thunder vs Phoeniz Suns
Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors
Houston Rockets vs Portland Trail Blazers
Many are wondering if LeBron James' Miami Heat team can win their third straight NBA championship, or could somebody else finally manage to stop him? The Eastern Conference is noticeably weak this season, with only the Indiana Pacers looking likely to challenge the Heat, but they've failed time and time again, so it's easy to understand why the majority are writing them off. It should be between the Heat and the Pacers, but the Heat will have too much in the tank for them.
The Western Conference has been everything the Eastern Conference hasn't. Exciting, fresh and full of unique scenarios. It's almost impossible to predict which team could win it all, with all eight offering very different, yet positive approaches. The final two should come down to the Los Angeles Clippers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder should have too much talent for the Clippers to stop, but regardless, whoever wins this will have a chance of winning it all.
The Thunder will beat the Heat in 7 games.
