Mad Men Final Season Premieres Tonight. See How Star Jon Hamm Wants Series to End.

The seventh and final season of the hit AMC show Mad Men premieres tonight.

The gang of Sterling Cooper and Partners are back one last time and while it may be the final season of the show the creators have split it into two sections so fans don't have to say goodbye to the show this year, thank gosh!

E! News caught up with the cast and crew and asked each one of them what the ideal ending would be. Jon Hamm, Jessica Paré, Christina Hendricks, and Kiernan Shipka speak out on how they'd want the show to end.

Will Don Draper finally find peace in the final season, well if it was up to star Jon Hamm he would. "I've always said that I just really wanted him to find peace." Jon Hamm tells E! News. "The good thing about being down down down is there is only one place to go."

Jessica Paré who plays Megan Draper tells the news outlet that she can't even come up with a way she would want the show to end. "Anything I come up with will be so lame compared to what the writers come up with. If it were up to me Don and Megan would just be happy and super cool and holding hands everyday and things with Betty would be awesome. And you know it would be like the worlds worst show, so boring, so I just leave it to the writers."

As far as his character Pete Campbell goes, Vincent Kartheiser wants him to be paraded down the streets of New York held up on Don Drapers shoulders and idolized like a golden king.

When it comes to the finale Christina Hendrick says that, "Its tricky because naturally you'd think you want good and happy things to happen but then as an actress you want something crazy and tragic to happen because its Mad Men. I'm sure whatever Matt comes up with will be wonderful."

Creator Matthew Weiner isn't promising any happy endings though. " This show has a bittersweet tone to it, I hope, no matter what happens, that we can take advantage of the emotions of the show ending."

The seven and final season of the show will begin airing tonight but will take a break at the end of May before coming back in 2015 and airing its last few episode before the series finale.
