Pop diva Rihanna has decided to sue her ex-accountants. They have alleged mishandled the singer's finances by losing tens of millions of dollars, failing to reduce expenses at a 2009 tour that was losing money, and more. They are also blamed for not filing her tax returns causing her to be a target for the IRS.
Since Rihanna fired the accountants in 2010, the singer has seen a significant increase in her net profit. That firm has been with the pop star since she was a 16 years old, however they have continuously breached their agreements, pocketed excessive commissions, and failed to wisely guide her in her purchase of an expensive home when finances were not favorable.
The legal papers were filed at the Manhattan Federal Court today (July 5) under Rihanna's real name Robyn Fenty. New York Daily News was able to obtain an excerpt that says, "Despite having earned millions of dollars in revenues during Berdon's tenure Fenty learned that her net income after payment of expenses and exorbitant commissions to defendant was a fraction of that amount."
