Monday Night Raw Preview 4/14/14: Ultimate Warrior tribute, war between Evolution and The Shield begins

The April 14, 2014 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw will emanate live from the BJCC Arena in Birmingham at 8 p.m. Eastern as the war between The Shield and Evolution begins. The WWE will also pay tribute to the Ultimate Warrior, who passed away last week at age 54.

Last week on Raw, Triple H nearly captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Daniel Bryan after beatdowns from Randy Orton, Batista and Kane. But The Shield intervened and fought off The Authority in what seemed to be the first battle in this war. On Smackdown, The Shield again made the save and triple power bombed Kane to put an exclamation point on the night.

How will Triple H and his cohorts respond tonight? Some reports indicate WWE is building toward a six-man tag team match between The Shield and the three former Evolution members, but where does that leave Bryan and Kane? Other rumors suggest a War Games match between the two sides at Extreme Rules. Hopefully the picture clears up a bit tonight.

We also learned last week that Cesaro is the newest Paul Heyman Guy. The manager sat in on commentary on Smackdown as Cesaro fought the Big Show and managed to hit the Neutralizer on the 400-plus pound giant. What's next for Heyman and his new protégé? Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter went after Cesaro twice last week, but will that continue tonight?

Paige became the new Divas Champion when she stunned AJ Lee with the Paige Turner to score the pin. An emotional Paige broke down backstage, as she now holds both the NXT and WWE belts. AJ will surely be out for revenge, but what will the former Divas Champion do to try to recapture the gold?

John Cena and Bray Wyatt are still going at it despite Cena's victory over the psychotic challenger at WrestleMania 30. We witnessed Cena nearly crack and turn to the dark side, but the leader of the Cenation stayed true to himself and picked up a clean win. It looks as though we are headed to a rematch at Extreme Rules, so what will be the next move from Bray and the rest of The Wyatt Family? Will Cena continue to be able to hold onto his sanity, or will Bray eventually find a way to crack Cena's armor (and his mind)?
