Nicki Minaj's mom a Gospel singer? Carol Maraj releases her new song "God's Been Good" ( New Music )

Look we are not saying that there is anything wrong with getting your praise on, but all people are just not cut out to be Gospel/Inspirational singers, or in the music industry period.

MStars has learned that singer Nicki Minaj's mom just released a Gospel song called, "God's Been Good."

Maybe this had something to do with why Minaj has been toning her look down lately. We previously reported that singer looked classy on the red carpet Sunday night at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.

Ms. Carol Maraj has a good and positive message in her new song, and is testifying to what God has done for her. She reveals that she struggled with cancer in her past.

"With a strange look on his face, the doctor studied me, looking at the x-rays I could see he wasn't sure," Maraj sings. "Got something to tell you, Mrs. C this is such a mystery, just can't find the cancer anymore," Maraj sings.
