NBC announces 'The Maya Rudolph Show' finally taking off

After more than a year of rumors and speculation and months after The Maya Rudolph Show was supposed to make its first appearance the time has finally come for the show to be on television.

MStars has learned that NBC announced Tuesday The Maya Rudolph Show is set to air May 19 at 10PM.

Raphael Saadiq will work as the band leader, and guest-star's include, Fred Armisen, Kristen Bell, Sean Hayes, Chris Parnell, Craig Robinson, and Andy Samberg. New artist Janelle Monae will be the musical guest.

NBC described the show to "revisit the classic variety show format." So get ready and don't forget to watch The Maya Rudolph Show May 19 on NBC.
