Girl Meets World is certainly doing everything it can to hook viewers of the original Boy Meets World series of the 1990s. Several cast members and guest stars are returning for the new show, and the newly revealed logo also calls back to the TGIF series.
The BMW globe, the familiar font and more are all evident in the new GMW logo, which you can see here at TVLine.
E! Online recently posted an exclusive first look at the trailer for series, which features Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) trying to sneak out the bedroom window. But Cory (Ben Savage) has seen his best friend Shawn (Rider Strong) pull that move, so he's outside waiting to catch the two girls. They have a brief but sweet conversation until Topanga (Danielle Fishel) appears in the doorway.
Check it out here.
In other news, Girl Meets World will bring back Harley Keiner, the high school bully who picked on Cory during his days at John Adams High School. Danny McNulty will once again portray the character, and Ben Savage posted a photo to Instagram of the two on set. It looks like Harley is a janitor these days.
Lee Norris will also return as Minkus, and it seems like the door is open for other Boy Meets World characters to return, as well.
What do you think of the new logo? Does it remind you of the original? Are you enjoying how the new show is bringing in elements from BMW? Let us know in the comments below.
