Imagine being invited to a Game of Thrones screening and one of your best friends is actually on the show. What do you say to your friend when you watch him, playing his character, suddenly die on screen?
According to TMZ, actor Jack Gleeson had a private Game of Thrones screening In Ireland. With his eleven friends, Gleeson played the most-talked about episode "The Lion and the Rose." Did his friends know beforehand they were going watch Gleeson die on the big screen?
How did Gleeson react to his shock death scene? He actually played out his farewell scene in good fun. Most actors would feel sad knowing they were going to get killed off from a TV series, especially if the show was very popular. Killing off a character from a TV show means the actor has no job afterwards.
If you look closely at the picture, is Gleeson mocking his own death scene by rolling his eyes, twisting his head, and playing dead? Gleeson is even pointing at Joffrey's bloody nose with a smirk on his face. I guess Joffrey got the last word after all.
Check out Gleeson having fun with Joffrey's death scene:
Actor Jack Gleeson had a big grin on his face while watching King Joffrey's Purple Wedding on Game of Thrones. King Joffrey became the most-hated villain on TV and no one could have played him better than Gleeson.
