Liverpool's Luis Suarez is shocked at possibility of lifting Premier League trophy

Luis Suarez is without a doubt one of the best players in the world and all summer he was desperately trying to get away from Liverpool for one reason, to win for trophies. He ultimately agreed to stay, and in what was considered an impossible outcome, Liverpool look like winning the Premier League and fulfilling Suarez' ambitions after all. Even though the flashy forward often comes across in an arrogant manner, he has recently revealed that he's very shocked that his team look set to win the coveted Premier League trophy.

The Liverpool striker explained his shock at their good form, saying "To win the title would be something that no one would believe,". He continued "The truth is we're surprised ourselves at how well we're playing. We have good players who are demonstrating why they are playing for Liverpool." Why does he think this you ask? He explains his shock, saying "It would be something amazing because of the investment made by Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal. Even Tottenham have spent over £100m.We, with so little investment, are in this position. It would be incredible."

If Liverpool can beat Chelsea this Sunday then they will look like a certainty to lift the trophy in a few weeks time. Suarez wanted to qualify for the Champions League, but he's likely to get more than that. He continued "We were clear that our aspirations were to qualify for the Champions League, that was our primary goal. Until we confirmed that we were in the Champions League, we weren't happy."

Can they go all the way and win it? He continued saying "But, if we don't win it, we will try again next year. We have realised this year that, with these players, it is possible."

Luis Suarez is likely to get his way after all. Funny how things turn out and a real indicator that loyalty can pay off.
