The nomadic road warrior is back in business, ready to jump into battle. Based on the sci-fi/action film series, drive around and combat other vehicles in an open-world environment in the Mad Max videogame.
In the Mad Max film series, law and order has broken down after Earth's oil supplies have been depleted. In the apocalyptic future of Australia, police officer Max Rockatansky (Mel Gibson) becomes disillusioned with his job after a motorcycle gang murders his partner and family. Alone and angry, Max travels deep into the Outback seeking revenge against those who hurt others.
From Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developed by Avalanche Studios, the road warrior returns in a brand new adventure set in the desert wasteland. Max continues to face off against psychotic marauders who mean to do him harm. To protect himself, Max gets himself involved in shootouts and car chases, and I mean lots of car chases.
Max drives himself around in the Magnum Opus vehicle. Based on the trailer, it seems like the player can customize the look of Max's car. You can add different types of weapons onto the hood and tires of the car.

The Mad Max videogame is slated to be released for the XBOX and PlayStation sometime in 2015. The fourth installment of the film franchise, Mad Max: Fury Road, starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, is expected to hit theaters on May 15, 2015.
