Liverpool have looked near unbeatable as of late, but Jose Mourinho's injury-hit Chelsea team looked to change that, and throw the title race wide open once again. With the Champions League semi-final coming and many players out of this game through injury, Jose knew his weakened team would have a tough task ahead. However, Liverpool appeared to run out of steam and Chelsea grabbed the all important 2-0 win, meaning both Chelsea and Manchester City can still win the Premier League, although Liverpool's hopes are not gone.

The first half was dominated largely by Liverpool, but towards the end Steven Gerrard slipped, which allowed Demba Ba to go through on goal, and he calmly slotted the ball away. In the second half it was Liverpool attacking time after time, with Chelsea trying to hit them on the counter. Towards he end Liverpool began to tire, and Chelsea scored again, in stoppage time, ensuring that Chelsea would win. Jose Mourinho, who has been ill recently, celebrated like he'd won the lottery.

The masterful tactician was at it again. No matter who he plays or what he does, he usually gets it right, and because of his approach, his team can still win the Premier League. Chelsea are now within two points of Liverpool, and they can take their place if Liverpool slip up in any of their remaining games.

Can Liverpool handle the heat of this title race, or will the experienced Chelsea and Manchester City squads catch up to them?
