Usher Son Brain Dead: Prayers Offered by Celebrities

The sad news of Usher's stepson's accident came as a shock to the nation.  11-year-old Kyle Glover, son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster, was riding an inner tube with friends and was suddenly hit in the head by a jet ski, according to reports.  Glover was immediately knocked unconscious and had to be airlifted and rushed to a local hospital, according to TMZ who first reported about the accident.

The man who struck the boy was part of Glover's party and it is still under investigation on how this traffic accident took place.  According to Sgt. Mike Burgamy of the Department of Natural Resources, alcohol did not play a role.  No charges have been made yet because the investigation is not complete yet.

Glover was admitted to the hospital on Friday (July 6) and has been brain dead since then.  

At this time, many celebrities took to their Twitter to send prayers and encourage prayers for Usher's stepson.

"My heart and prayers go out to @TamekaRaymond & @usherRaymondIV during this extremely difficult time," wrote Toni Braxton

Singer Monica wrote, "#PrayForKile @TamekaRaymond & Family need to be uplifted"
