Reports confirm that Simon & Garfunkel superstar Paul Simon was arrested over the weekend for disorderly conduct. Simon's longtime wife Edie Brickell was also charged and arrested.
Few details surrounding the altercation are currently available. The 72-year-old singer and his 48-year-old wife were arrested at their home in New Canaan, Connecticut after an alleged "domesitc dispute" over the weekend. Police were called to the residence at around 8 p.m. on Saturday (April 26).
According to TMZ, both "were both taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct after a heated domestic dispute." The husband and wife are expected to appear in Norwalk Superior Court later today (Monday, April 28). The story is still developing...
Law enforcement officials are scheduled to hold a press conference soon to discuss the case.
