Can Marcos Maidana beat Floyd 'Money' Mayweather? Is Amir Khan next?

On Saturday 3rd May Floyd 'Money' Mayweather will go toe-to-toe with Marcos Maidana, but can the underdog pull off a massive upset? Floyd is 45-0, and with zero defeats on his record many believe he's as close ro unbeatable as we've seen in a boxing ring. Maidana has suffered defeat before, but he's always improving and the highly regarded boxer is seen as one of the very few that has a small chance of competing effectively against Mayweather.

Many expected it to be Amir Khan fighting against Floyd on this card, however, he will fight on the undercard, and it looks very likely that the British boxer will fight the winner of the Mayweather bout. Khan has beaten Maidana before, so however this fight finishes, Amir should find himself as the No. 1 contender.

Mayweather is too quick to be dominated, so Marcos will have to come at him with something tactically fresh if he's going to have a chance. Mayweather's combination of speed, agility and power are often far too much for his competitors to deal with, so Maidana will have ro stifle him as quickly as possible.
