BOOM! Studios Slacks Off With Mordecai And Rigby In ‘Regular Show 2014 Annual!’ [Sneak Preview]

Through their KaBOOM! Imprint, BOOM! Studios will release a super-sized issue about a popular animated TV series. Let's see what kind of epic and surreal adventure Mordecai and Riby get into when they slack off from work in Regular Show 2014 Annual #1.

Based on the hit Cartoon Network series, J.G. Quintel created an animated TV show about super lazy best buds, Mordecai the bluejay and Rigby the raccoon. Regular Show follows the hilarious duo as they routinely try to find ways to slack off from their jobs as groundskeepers at the local park. In their hilarious, off-the-wall adventures, the slackers interact with other characters, including their boss, Benson, Skips the yeti, Muscle Man, and Hi-Five Ghost. 

This oversized annual issue comes from a talented group of indie creators, including Regular Show regulars Kevin Burkhalter and Jimmy Giegerich, Tessa Stone (Bravest Warriors), Mad Rupert (Regular Show: Skips), and Andy Kluthe (Nerd Rage). The main cover for the issue will be illustrated by regular series artist Allison Strejilau. Available in limited quantities, there will be two incentive covers by Jen Lee and regular series writer KC Green. 

Plot Synopsis:

Do you know those appetizer sampler platters you can order in your favorite restaurant? Mordecai and Rigby find themselves at odds over a haunted pair of sneakers. Pops might be lost inside a hidden labyrinth and he's not quite sure how he got there. Skips might finally have a problem that even he can't solve.  As you've just read, just like a sampler platter, Regular Show 2014 Annual #1 has a little bit of everything!
