‘90210’ to Star Carly Rae Jepsen for Premiere

"Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen will appear in the season 5 premiere of teen television series "90210".

On the show, Jepsen plays the music headliner of Adrianna's (Jessica Lowndes) Las Vegans debut, which is interrupted by news about Dixon's (Tristan Wilds) car accident. The Canadian singer will perform one of her new songs off the upcoming album.

"We fell in love with her song when we first heard it, and used it in last season's finale before it was a national sensation. We think she's an exciting artist and are thrilled to be able to have her music on the show again, this time in a live performance in our season premiere," executive Producers Patti Carr and Lara Olsen said.

Jepsen's first television series appearance is set to air on October 8 on The CW. She is also supporting Justin Bieber's North America tour starting September 29.
