Supernatural aired the backdoor pilot for its spinoff series, Bloodlines, on Tuesday night in the 20th episode of Season 9 of the main series. Fans are still weighing the introductions of Ennis, David, Violet and the rest of the monster families in Chicago, but the word "spinoff" almost always leads to thoughts of crossovers between series.

So fans are, of course, wondering if Sam, Dean, Castiel or others could show up in Bloodlines at some point. Here's what the "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online reports on that subject:

Tyler A.: I really enjoyed the Supernatural: Bloodlines backdoor pilot last night! If the show is picked up, can we expect to see Sam and Dean visit Chicago?
It's still early, but that's looking like a possibility and it's even more likely you'll see some fan favorite supporting players stop by. 'In the Supernatural world, so there are supporting characters, from some of our major supporting characters like Cas and Crowley and our smaller characters like Sheriff Jody Mills, or Garth that we would very much like to see in Chicago,' the spinoff's showrunner Andrew Dabb says. 'And the fun thing is that we could bring them in for multiple episodes and really kind of explore a storyline with them, and then look, we've talked internally about some fun ideas to kind of bring Sam and Dean into this world or bring some of our Bloodlines guys into the Supernatural world. A lot of it depends on the realities of scheduling and shooting and all that kind of stuff, but it's certainly something we would love to do.'

Do you think we will see crossovers between Supernatural and Bloodlines? If so, who would move between the two series? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
