Boxing champ Floyd Mayweather or Oprah to own the L.A. Clippers?

After NBA Commissioner Adam Silver’s banned Los Angeles Clippers owner, Donald Sterling for life and is currently asking for the Board of Governors to vote to force a sale of the NBA team despite Sterling’s intentions on not selling, MStars has learned that Floyd Mayweather and Oprah are considering to purchase the Clippers.

We are sure that the thought of “who will be the next owner?” is on everyone’s mind, and some celebrities that have considered being an owner to the NBA team does include these two.

As Floyd Mayweather gears up to fight on Saturday, May 3 he who told CBS Vegas on Tuesday that he was indeed interested in pursing the Clippers:

 “Do we want to buy the Clippers? Yes we do,” Mayweather said. “I'm very, very interested in buying the Clippers.” He continued. “We want to buy the Clippers and we can afford to buy the Clippers.”

Added to that list is TV host, and OWN Network, Oprah Winfrey.
