Today (May 1, 2014) marked the official announcement of the 2014 Daytime Emmy Awards, which will take place on June 22 in Beverly Hills. This awards ceremony showcases outstanding achievements for television programs and shows that air during the workday, so the main draw is the Soap Operas. What dramatic series will take home the most statues this year?
"With over 1,400 entries this year, the National Academy is again excited to welcome more than 350 nominees to this year's Daytime Emmy Awards," said Malachy Wienges, chairman of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
