The upcoming fall televisions series has some promising and not-so-promising new pilots debuting on several networks and we can't wait! To help you get a better look at these upcoming premieres, we've compiled a short list of our favorite top five pilots that we believe are most likely to get a season order from their respective networks.

Gotham (FOX)

This new series is set in the DC Comics universe of Batman, but before the caped-crusader was old enough to deal with criminals. Described as a prequel series, this show will focus on James Gordon, who later becomes one of Batman's closest allies. Starring Ben McKenzie as Gordon opposite a slew of impressive costars, we can't see how Fox doesn't pick up Gotham for a full-season order.

The Flash (The CW)

Grant Gustin of Glee fame is set to star as Barry Allen, A.K.A. the Flash, a superhero that can reach tremendous speeds. Set up as a spinoff series of the popular CW series Arrow, expect a lot of great things from this pilot and most likely a whole first season!

How I Met Your Dad (CBS)

The How I Met Your Mother spinoff is more like a reboot considering it won't exactly involve any of the HIMYM cast, but that probably makes it better. Hopefully this new pilot, starring Greta Gerwig as the leading lady, gets picked up for a season order because CBS doesn't have much else.

Keep It Together (ABC)

From the mind and stand up act of Kevin Hart, we have comedy gold with this new pilot. Though Hart isn't starring in the series, the very capable Romany Malco (Weeds, 40-Year-Old Virgin) will lead the series if it gets picked up.

Agent Carter (ABC)

Agents of SHIELD's failure(s) aside, the Marvel Universe should be on the small screen. This Captain America spinoff television pilot with star Hayley Atwell reprising her role as Steve Rogers' badass love interest should learn from the aforementioned Agents' mistakes. Please pick this up for at least one season, ABC!

Are you looking forwards to any pilots hitting TV this fall?
