Popular Subway spokesman Jared Fogle is NOT dead, despite the morbid rumors currently going viral online.

Several Mstars fans know Fogle as the guy who lost a bunch of weight on the "Subway sandwich diet" -

And on Monday (May 5), #RIPSubwayJared began trending on the popular social networking site, Twitter. Some fans were shocked by Fogle's sudden passing, while most others (knowing it was a hoax) just made fun of the entire thing. Mean, but still sort of funny:

Sadly, this isn't the first time Fogle's fallen victim to the infamous celebrity death hoax. He has yet to respond to such #RIP claims, but he is NOT dead. Fans should always check with reliable sources before spreading such crazy nonsense online!
