"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" freshman star, Tammy Rivera landed a role on the popular show due to her relationship with rapper Waka Flocka Flame.
Last night, on the premiere episode of the LHHATL season 3, Tammy was introduced along with Waka's mother, Deb Antney. The new reality star explained that the pair had separated twice due to infidelitiy and recently got back on track after Waka proposed and promised to remain faithful.
In an interview with Sister 2 Sister, Tammy admitted that she wasn't ready for cameras to record her life, however, she feels the pair are ready to take their relationship public.
"It's just a point right now in my life where for the first time with my fiancé I feel stable. I feel grounded. I feel blessed, and he's more comfortable in our relationship," Tammy said. "It's just a time right now where we feel like it's okay to let people in. We're not perfect, but I'm ready."
Tammy added that she doesn't fear her relationship being in jeopardy just because of their television debut.
"We've been through hell and high water, so I doubt if this TV show can even compare to half the stuff I've been through with this man," Tammy admitted. "This right here, this is small peanuts for us."
