Diva Drama: Miley Cyrus Refused to Appear on 'The Voice' Because of Christina Aguilera Feud

Looks like there is a new Disney darling rivalry these days.

First we had Britney and Christina, then we had Miley and Selena, and now it looks like Miley and Christina are taking a turn on the drama-go-round.

RadarOnline has learned that producer of the hit NBC series The Voice really want to get the "Wrecking Ball" singer on their show and have been trying to for quite some time. So what's the hold up? The celebrity gossip site learned that Miley is not a big Christina Aguilera fan.

A source told Radar that, "Miley is no friend or support of Christina, despite the fact they have a lot in common, including long associations with Disney and using some of the same people through the years on their respective business teams."

Even though Christina hasn't been on the season since last fall and won't be a judge again until spring 2015, Miley still refuses to be on the show. The source says "Even if Christina has temporarily stepped aside, The Voice is still Christina's show and Miley doesn't want to lift a finger to help that woman."

The producers of the show realize that Cyrus has a problem Christina and they have been extending her invitations to perform on the show during Aguilera's absence. Yet the source says that "Miley [is] still resisting countless invites to perform on the show."

The feud began back in February when Aguilera tweeted at Cyrus, "Cheers from one dirrty girl to the next @mileycyrus... wear em' loud & proud, girl-yes!" with a picture of Cyrus performing in chaps during the Bangerz Tour.

Miley saw the praising comment from the "Dirrty" songstress as a backhanded compliment, claiming that Christina wanted to point out that she was the first Diva to wear chaps while performing.

"Miley couldn't believe Xtina would Tweet about her wearing chaps on stage, reminding everyone that she did it first. It was such a fake compliment and undermined Miley in the process."

The Voice producers are not happy about the seemingly one sided feud. They are desperate to get Cyrus on the show because they think she will help to boost their ratings.
