Former White House intern and Bill Clinton's mistress, Monica Lewinsky is making headlines again after reliving her scandal in a new interview with Vanity Fair entitled "Shame and Survival," where she explains how the affair ruined her career and corrects singer Beyoncé's lyrics in "Partition" referencing her.
The woman caught in one of the major Presidential scandals in history slammed the singer's lyrics:
"Oh he so horny, yeah he want to fuck," sings Beyoncé. "He popped all my buttons, and he ripped my blouse/He Monica Lewinsky-ed all on my gown."
Lewinsky corrected "Queen Bey" in the during her interview saying, "Thanks, Beyoncé," said Lewinsky. "But if we're verbing, I think you meant 'Bill Clinton'd all on my gown,' not 'Monica Lewinsky'd.'"
The 40-year-old admitted that she "deeply regrets" her affair after almost 20 years and revealed that the most talked about scandal ruined her chances to get a decent job.
"Because of what potential employers so tactfully referred to as my 'history,'" she said, "I was never 'quite right' for the position. In some cases, I was right for all the wrong reasons, as in 'Of course, your job would require you to attend our events.' And, of course, these would be events at which press would be in attendance."
