On Mad Men, Don Draper is living a double life, one that he has kept secret from his own family, and the other is his work life at his advertising agency. Actor Jon Ham meets his TV persona for the first time and has to take a self-portrait with him.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Hamm was actually unveiling his wax figure at New York's Madame Tussauds. Notice how Hamm and his doppelganger were dressed exactly alike. Coincidence or Hamm really is Don Draper in his spare time?
In order to make these wax models, measurements, photographs, and references are needed before the process can start. Hamm or someone from the wardrobe department from Mad Men must have donated the grey suit for the model to wear. The perfectly stitched suit, the black tie, and ironed white shirt is exactly the type of clothing you would see Don Draper wear in the episodes.
In an interview with Associated Press, Hamm spoke about his wax figure, "I was honored and surprised. That was last year. This has come out in such a short period of time. It's truly amazing what the craftsmen and artists here do."
